My sister, Victoria Garson, tagged me to come up with some of my favorite blog entires. i haven’t been doing this for too long, but these would have to be my favorites so far…

Happy 4th of July!! because I actually put a lot of time and effort into researching that one.

Father’s Day at the Firehouse for pretty much the same reason.

Continental Buffet Inc. because there were so many interesting conversations (and the discovery of a really great Chinese place care of Elisa!!) that came from it.

The Da Vinci Experience because it’s something that I feel everyone SHOULD go and check out as pretty much a once in a lifetime opportunity.

and lastly, Raging Waters at Cal Expo, simply because that sun is seriously bad ass!!! hahaha

Anyway, I’d go and tag someone too, but I’m too lazy right now–and I’m supposed to be “working” at my real world job! Maybe later though…

When Sacramento was founded in 1849, I don't think anyone bothered to notice that it means "Holy Sacrament" in Spanish. After all, it wasn't a very apt name for a lively, growing mining town where gambling and saloons where the status quo. Perhaps to gain a modicum of respect, they paid California $1 million in 1854 in order to become the State Capitol.
